Wheel throwing taster session

This is a taster session to come have a go at throwing clay with me. I will give a short description and demonstration before you have a go yourself. I will be there throughout to give pointers, further explanations and answer any questions.
By the end of the session you will have learned to; wedge, centre and pull clay, with the aim to create a small cup sized vessel and/or a small bowl.
Do not expect to have any amazing pots thrown, its just about having a go and getting a feel for if its something you may enjoy. The class size is 4 so there will be lots of contact time.
All materials are included as well as the firing of 2 pieces made in the time.
You can collect your pots from my studio 4 - 6 weeks after your class. If you’d like me to post your pottery to you, additional costs will apply. If you make more than 2 pots you'd like to keep each pot will be an additional £10 to glaze and fire.
Aprons and towels will be provided for the duration of the lesson, but please wear clothes you are happy to get a little messy. Long hair must be tied back.
